Functional Consultant/Ba (Wealth Management/Trading)

Responsibilities Handle banking operations processes such as payments/cash, securities, and settlement activities. Understand banking operations from a business perspective, including payment execution in the market, industry settlement rules, clearing systems, and custody systems. Understand banking operations from a systems perspective, including transaction booking and processing in a core banking system, management of different legs of complex products, and fee schedule setup. Maintain an end-to-end understanding of operational processes, including different steps, dependencies, and stakeholders involved. Understand and support Incident Management, Release Management, and L1/L2/L3 Production Management processes. Manage and monitor Control-M and Tivoli/Geneos monitoring tools. Analyze, influence, negotiate, and resolve complex issues within SLA timelines to achieve project goals. Demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills while interacting with clients, business users, vendors, management, and project teams at all levels. Effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a high-stress, high-pressure environment while maintaining resilience. Requirements [ Functional Consultant/BA profile with Wealth Management/Trading experience (Avaloq skill not mandatory)] Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. 7–9 years of experience in the Banking sector with an Application Production Support background within the Wealth Management industry. Knowledge of Avaloq Core Banking System/Wealth Management to diagnose and resolve production issues. In-depth knowledge of trading products such as FX, Equities, and Structured Products, including support for related transactions and lifecycle events within Avaloq and other trading platforms.
