Senior Specialist Quantity Survey

Role Purpose: Review work specifications, take-off quantity, costing and liaise with contractors and suppliers Job Responsibilities: Assist Senior Commercial Manager / Commercial Manager / with all daily commercial operations Assist with Cost and Budget Reporting Assist with resolving contractual and commercial problems Attend to all relevant contract admin & documentation for the project Ensure that all stakeholders, such as administration, operations, and finance understand and adhere to contractual obligations and reflecting them accurately RFQ procedures with subcontractors and suppliers for pre and post-contract stages. Progress Claims with Client and/or subcontractors & suppliers. Supporting in Variation and Claim procedures. Ad hoc duties as determined by management Job Requirements: Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying/ Building Sciences /Engineering Minimum years of experience: 5-6 years Experience in the field of engineering and construction Preferably with experience in Data Centre, hospital, heavy industrial and other mission critical complex projects, or EPC contracts Behavioural Skills Clear and structured communication Good internal and external networking Highly structured, systematic and organised Focus and details oriented Work independently and professionally with little supervision Technical Skills Reasonable knowledge about the industry Familiar with Standard Forms of Contract
