UX & UI Designer (12-Month Contract)

About the Role Faculty Digital is looking for a UX & UI Designer to craft intuitive, visually polished experiences across our web products. You'll own design work end-to-end — from user research and wireframes through high-fidelity UI — with a strong focus on responsive web design that works seamlessly across desktop, tablet, and mobile. What You'll Do Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI for responsive web applications Conduct user research and usability testing; translate findings into design improvements Build and maintain design systems, style guides, and reusable component libraries Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers from concept through launch Ensure designs meet accessibility standards (WCAG) and perform well across browsers and devices What We're Looking For 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design for web products Proven track record in responsive web design with a portfolio to show for it Proficiency in Figma (or similar tools) for design, prototyping, and handoff Solid grasp of interaction design, information architecture, and visual design principles Strong communication skills and comfort presenting design decisions to stakeholders Nice to Have Frontend development skills — HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or experience with frameworks like React Experience working within an agile product team Familiarity with design tokens and developer handoff workflows
