Senior Staff Nurse, Endoscopy

Roles and Responsibilities . To assist in the implementation of clinical policies, procedures and practice including utilization of new technologies. To assist the specialist doctors with the endoscopic procedures and ensure that appropriate documentation is done. To participate in quality improvement initiatives/ projects according to ESS strategic work plan. To participate in the implementation of clinical practices including utilisation of new technologies, regular clinical nursing audits to ensure the standards of care is of high quality. To participate in the review nursing protocols, policies and procedures for continuous improvement. To assist Nurse Manager (NM)/Nurse Clinician (NC) on scheduling of staff to ensure the appropriate skill mix and competencies are in adequate proportion to number of cases scheduled on a daily basis. To ensure correct billing of consumables used and procedures performed for patients. Any other tasks assigned by supervisor. Requirements Diploma/Degree in Nursing or equivalent. Valid Singapore Nursing Board Practicing Certificate. At least 2 years of experience in Endoscopy. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
