Construction Manager

Responsibilities: Lead and manage overall construction site operations to ensure successful project delivery Report directly to the Management on project progress and site matters Plan, coordinate, and monitor all construction activities according to project schedule Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with specifications Oversee site teams and subcontractors, to ensure smooth project execution Review project drawings, method statements, and work sequences prior to implementation Manage manpower, equipment, and material resources efficiently Monitor project progress and prepare regular progress reports Identify project risks, delays, and operational challenges, and implement corrective actions Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, company policies, and authorities’ requirements Ensure quality workmanship and minimize abortive work and material wastage Attend site meetings, coordination meetings, and inspections with clients, consultants, and authorities Resolve technical and operational issues arising on site Mentor and guide engineers, supervisors, and site staff Ensure proper documentation and record keeping for all site activities and project matters Requirements: Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in the construction / civil engineering industry Proven experience in managing civil engineering projects Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills Good knowledge of construction methods, project planning, safety regulations, and quality standards Excellent communication and coordination skills Able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines Proficient in project scheduling and reporting
