About this role

Key Responsibilities: 1. Market Research & Analysis Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes in the security technology and services sector. Analyze client needs and industry demand to develop targeted business strategies. Monitor industry developments and emerging technologies to keep the company at the forefront of innovation. 2. Business Development & Sales Strategy Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the company’s customer base. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, attending industry events, and other outreach efforts. Develop tailored proposals and presentations that effectively communicate the value of the company’s security technology and services offerings. Work closely with the marketing team to create campaigns that support business development initiatives. 3. Client Relationship Management Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and addressing any issues that arise. Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits and ensure client satisfaction. Conduct regular client reviews to assess satisfaction levels and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling. 4. Collaboration & Team Leadership Collaborate with the technical and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction. Provide leadership and mentorship to junior sales and business development staff. Work closely with the product development team to provide customer feedback and market insights that guide product innovation. 5. Reporting & Performance Management Prepare regular reports on sales activity, pipeline status, and performance against targets. Provide accurate sales forecasts and adjust strategies as necessary to meet targets. Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure continuous improvement in business development efforts. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably within the security technology or services industry. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Skills & Competencies: Strong understanding of security technology and services, including cybersecurity, physical security, and security consulting. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex market data and trends. Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Personal Attributes: Strategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture and focus on key priorities. Results-driven with a passion for achieving targets and driving business growth. Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. High level of integrity and professionalism. Working Conditions: Full-time position with the possibility of travel islandwide, to meet clients and attend industry events. Flexible working hours may be required to meet the demands of the role.
