Kitchen Assistant

Kitchen Assistant – Job Responsibilities Clean and sanitize food preparation areas in accordance with hygiene and food safety standards. Wash, dry, and properly store kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, cutting boards, and cooking appliances. Assist with basic food preparation and meal production. Sweep and mop kitchen floors and clean kitchen walls to maintain a safe and hygienic environment. Receive, unload, and organize delivered food supplies. Store food items correctly following stock rotation and food safety procedures. Transfer ingredients from storage areas to the kitchen as required. Prepare hot beverages. Assist with meal plating and presentation. Blend and prepare food according to recipes and dietary requirements. Support kitchen staff in daily operations and maintain cleanliness throughout the work area. Key Skills Knowledge of food hygiene and sanitation practices.
