Project Proposal Engineer - Measurement Instruments

Key Responsibility The Project Proposal Engineer plays a pivotal role in achieving project objectives within defined time and cost frameworks while ensuring full delivery scope and quality. This position involves a combination of technical expertise, project management, and customer-focused activities to support and drive sales. As a crucial link between the technical and commercial aspects of projects, the Project Proposal Engineer ensures customer satisfaction and successful handover to the Project Execution team. This role will be based in Singapore, is part of the Sales Department ( Internal Sales Team ), responsible for the Water/Wastewater Industry and reports to the Customer Experience Manager (CXM). The main tasks and responsibilities are: Collaborative Sales Approach • Partner closely with all stakeholders to serve customers effectively and meet team sales targets. • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, or other communication channels. • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers. • Promote Digital Sales business Proposal & Quotation Preparation • Proposal & Quotation Preparation • Analyze requests for proposals to understand project scope, technical requirements and customer expectations. • Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies in proposals. • Ensure proposals adhere to industry standards and compliance regulations. • Utilize CEP and SAP systems to prepare accurate costings, quotations, and proposals for company's products, services, and third-party packages. • Terms & condition (T&C) review & negotiation Customer Engagement and Technical Assistance • Summarize customer specifications and create a Deviation/Clarification list. • Participate in technical clarification meetings with customers, clarifying company's proposed deviations. • Handle inquiries via various communication channels, provide technical assistance and advice, follow up on quotations, negotiate terms, close orders, and maintain cus…
