Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems for various applications, including industrial & commercial projects. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret technical drawings and piping diagrams. Measure, cut, thread, bend, and weld pipes according to project specifications. Assemble and secure pipes using welding, soldering, brazing, and cementing techniques. Install pipes, valves, and fittings onto walls, tanks, and other structures. Inspect and test piping systems using pressure gauges and hydrostatic testing. Diagnose and repair leaks, blockages, and damaged pipes. Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policies. Operate specialized tools such as pipe cutters, threaders, and bending machines. Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members. Requirements Education & Certification: Minimum Higer Nitech or equivalent. BCSS / CSOC certification required. Certifications in Work at Height, Scissor Lift, and Manhole Safety preferred. Skills & Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience in pipefitting or a related trade. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong mechanical skills and proficiency in using pipefitting tools. Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy materials and work in demanding environments. Problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and repair piping issues. Good communication skills and a responsible, detail-oriented work attitude.
