Drafter

Job Description Prepare shop drawings, fabrication drawings, installation drawings, and as-built drawings for glass, aluminium, and façade systems based on design intent, project specifications, and site requirements. Convert conceptual designs, sketches, tender drawings, and architectural drawings into accurate and detailed CAD drawings for submission and approval. Prepare detailed drawings for curtain walls, cladding, doors, windows, canopies, skylights, glass works, aluminium works, and other related façade elements as required. Ensure all drawings comply with architectural requirements, structural design, project specifications, and relevant façade system standards. Assist in preparing material schedules, cutting lists, quantity take-offs, and other related technical documentation. Coordinate with relevant parties on drawing and technical requirements. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager or Project Lead. Job Requirements Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience preferred, particularly in glass, aluminium, façade, or construction-related works. Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, BIM, Revit, and Microsoft Office Able to read and interpret architectural, structural, and technical drawings. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in preparing technical drawings. Self-motivated with initiative and a strong sense of responsibility. Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines. Must be comfortable working independently in a factory/industrial environment with minimal supervision.
