Programme Lead

As Programme Lead at Food from the Heart, you will champion the School Goodie Bag (SGB) programme, leading its planning, execution, and continuous enhancement to ensure nutritious food reaches children and families who need it most. Your work will create meaningful impact while building strong partnerships with schools, volunteers, and community stakeholders. This role offers meaningful space to grow and contribute. Job Summary Reporting to the Manager of Programme, the Programme Lead will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and continuous development of the School Goodie Bag (SGB) programme. This includes managing partnerships with existing schools and preschools, expanding outreach to onboard new educational institutions, and ensuring the effective delivery of food support to children from low-income families. In addition to SGB, the Programme Lead manages and supports special projects including the annual Clean Plate Campaign and Toy Buffet, as well as school engagement initiatives related to our charity such as food drives, school talks and other outreach activities that promote the organisation’s mission. You will work closely with the Manager and the rest of the team to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Required Skills/Abilities: Passion for community work and making a positive impact. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to manage and coordinate volunteers effectively. Knowledge of the local community and social services sector is an advantage. Qualifications: Minimum A levels or diploma. Proficiency in MS software usage
