Senior Planning Engineer (For Tender)

Responsibilities: Report to Head of Engineering on tendering function Responsible for construction planning, scheduling and baseline programme with resource allocation for tender submission Identify potential risks and delays in the project timeline, proposing solutions and mitigation strategies Assist the preparation and review of tender drawings, method statements, safe work procedures, risk assessments, proposals etc. Be responsible for any other duties that may be assigned from time to time as your superior/management deem fit Assist project site planning and programming when required Assist in developing power point presentation to seek Board or Management approval Requirements: Possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent Minimum 7 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in the construction industry Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project and Primavera P6 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and safety regulations Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, work on multiple tenders concurrently and mentor junior colleagues Experience completing 2 project cycles is an added advantage Information provided in response to this job advertisement will be treated in strict confidence and be used for recruitment purposes only.
