Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Advisor to support the commissioning, startup, and testing of GE Vernova equipment on Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant projects. The successful candidate will provide technical guidance to the customer's commissioning team to ensure the safe, efficient, and successful commissioning of GE systems. Key Responsibilities Prepare and advise on the execution of commissioning, operation, trial runs, and acceptance testing within the scope of responsibility in accordance with contractual obligations to the customer. Responsible for the technical safety of GE Vernova equipment until handover to the customer in accordance with the contract. Review component and system testing, cleaning, flushing, initial checkout, and testing procedures, providing technical recommendations where required. Coordinate with the customer's commissioning team to ensure commissioning activities are executed in accordance with GE Vernova standards and project requirements. Recommend system turnover dates for GE-supplied equipment to support project milestones, including first fire. Review and provide input on pre-commissioning and system cleaning procedures where they interface with GE's scope of supply. Participate in daily startup meetings and provide input to: 1. Startup Plan of the Day 2. Critical Action Item list 3. Control room log Establish and maintain Startup Field Reports to support engineering issue resolution. Maintain commissioning, startup, and testing records for GE's scope of supply. Ensure compliance with GE quality, Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), and commissioning procedures. Ensure compliance with GE Vernova Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety (QEHS), and commissioning procedures. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline is essential. A minimum of 10 years of experience in commissioning, startup, and testing of power generation equipment, including significant experience with HA-powered Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) projects, is essential. Strong knowledge of GE Vernova Commissioning TOP, Permit to Work (PTW), and relevant Quality and EHS processes is essential. Proven experience managing commissioning activities, including system cleaning, flushing, initial checkout, preventive maintenance, and startup testing. Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Willingness to travel and work at project sites as required.
