Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to lead the company's sales growth and business development. The Sales Director will be responsible for developing sales strategies, driving revenue, building strategic partnerships, and leading a high-performing sales team to position Gem Flora Wedding & Events as one of Singapore's leading wedding and event brands. Key Responsibilities Business Development Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve annual revenue and profit targets. Identify new business opportunities across weddings, ROMs, corporate events, social celebrations, and venue partnerships. Build strong relationships with hotels, country clubs, restaurants, developers, event venues, and corporate clients. Expand market presence through strategic collaborations and partnerships. Sales Leadership Lead, coach, mentor, and motivate the sales team to consistently exceed sales targets. Establish clear KPIs, sales objectives, and performance metrics. Conduct regular sales meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews. Foster a customer-focused and high-performance sales culture. Client Relationship Management Meet with prospective clients to understand their event requirements. Prepare customised proposals, quotations, and presentations. Negotiate contracts and successfully close high-value projects. Maintain long-term relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals. Marketing Collaboration Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and lead generation initiatives. Represent the company at bridal shows, exhibitions, networking events, and industry conferences. Identify emerging market trends and recommend new service offerings. Financial Management Prepare annual sales budgets and forecasts. Monitor sales performance and profitability. Ensure healthy gross profit margins on all projects. Prepare monthly sales reports for management. Requirements Education Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Event Management, or a related discipline. Experience Minimum 8 years of sales experience. At least 3–5 years in a senior sales management or leadership role. Experience in weddings, hospitality, luxury events, hotels, banquets, or event management is highly preferred. Skills Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets. Excellent negotiation and closing skills. Strong leadership and people management capabilities. Outstanding communication and presentation skills. Ability to build long-term business relationships.
