About the Role We are seeking a proactive and articulate PR & Executive Profiling Executive to anchor our brand’s official entry into the Singapore market. This is a rare opportunity to be the ground-floor voice of an expanding organization, taking a hands-on role in launching our corporate presence. The ideal candidate is a natural storyteller who knows how to spot a "hook," write flawlessly, and isn't afraid to pick up the phone or send a cold pitch to a journalist. A critical focus of this role will be the strategic positioning of our new Director in the local press. You will look beyond standard corporate updates to frame the Director as a thought leader and a definitive voice in the industry from day one. You will manage the end-to-end launch pipeline: from drafting compelling press releases to building a local media database and steering the supporting social media buzz to guarantee publication and coverage. Key Responsibilities 1. Media Relations & Executive Positioning Executive Profiling: Craft and pitch strategic profile stories, opinion pieces (Op-Eds), and expert commentary Media Outreach: Build, update, and maintain a comprehensive database of Singapore-based journalists, editors, mainstream media houses, and business trade publications. Earned Media: Actively pitch story angles to local media to secure high-quality earned editorial placements, executive interviews, and industry panel opportunities. Spokesperson Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries and coordinate spokesperson scheduling and briefing materials for the Director. 2. Content & Copywriting Press Materials: Draft, edit, and proofread clear, publication-ready press releases, media kits, corporate bios, and pitch letters. Executive Messaging: Conduct internal briefings with the Director to extract key insights, drafting executive quotes for press releases that sound authentic, human-centric, and strategically impactful. Localization: Translate corporate milestones into localized narratives that resonate specifically with the Singapore business and consumer landscape. 3. Social Media & Digital Integration Amplification: Collaborate on or directly manage local social media channels (especially LinkedIn) to amplify launch announcements and share the Managing Director's thought-leadership pieces. Content Design: Create localized social content that drives audience engagement and pushes secondary traffic back to our main media features. 4. Monitoring & Reporting Media Tracking: Track, monitor, and compile daily media coverage and social media mentions using PR tracking tools. ROI Metrics: Produce weekly and post-campaign report metrics detailing overall reach, sentiment, and the direct impact of publication efforts. Key Requirements Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Mass Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. Experience: 2 years of experience. Prior internships or full-time experience within a Singapore PR agency or an in-house corporate communications team is highly advantageous. Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to understand corporate strategy and translate it into a compelling personal branding or executive profiling roadmap for leadership. Media Literacy: A strong baseline knowledge of the Singapore media ecosystem (specifically business-critical press like The Business Times, The Straits Times, and regional trade publications that feature leadership profiles). Skills: Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, with a knack for writing sharp, professional executive quotes. Strong interpersonal skills with a confident "can-do" attitude toward cold pitching and managing senior internal stakeholders. Proficiency in managing business social media platforms (especially LinkedIn). Traits: High level of initiative, self-motivated, organized, and capable of meeting tight editorial deadlines.
