About this role
Job Summary You will perform comprehensive accounting duties including maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable/receivable, reconciling accounts, processing payroll, and ensuring compliance with tax and statutory requirements. Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records by recording all accounting transactions to ensure data integrity Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports to support business decision-making Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable to maintain timely and accurate cash flow Reconcile bank accounts, supplier statements, and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and journal entries to support financial operations Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance to identify variances and support financial planning Process payroll accurately and ensure timely payment of salaries, taxes, and statutory contributions in compliance with regulations Prepare and submit tax returns and other statutory filings to meet legal compliance requirements Preferred competencies and qualifications Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent) are an advantage Minimum 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the relevant industry Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel Good knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, and applicable regulations Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills demonstrated through financial data analysis and issue resolution Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple accounting tasks efficiently Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and meet deadlines consistently Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders
