Demand And Supply Planner

Job Purpose: We are seeking a highly organized and analytical individual to join our team as a Demand and Supply Planner. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing inventory levels, forecasting demand, and ensuring the efficient flow of products through the supply chain. This candidate will actively lead in Sales and Operations Review (S&OP) processes to align cross-functional teams and drive overall business success. Principal Accountabilities Demand Planning: • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and business strategies. • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to gather relevant information for demand planning. • Conduct regular analysis of forecast accuracy and adjust strategies as needed. Supply Planning: • Coordinate with US supply site to ensure availability of supplies to support demand. • Monitor inventory levels and production schedules to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory. • Identify potential supply chain risks and develop strategies for risk mitigation. Collaboration and Communication: • Foster effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, customer service and logistics. • Provide regular updates on demand and supply trends, potential issues, and recommendations for improvement. Data Analysis: • Utilize statistical modeling and analysis tools to enhance forecasting accuracy. • Analyze historical sales data and market trends to identify patterns and potential opportunities. Continuous Improvement: • Identify areas for process improvement within the demand and supply planning functions. Skills, Know How and experience • Minimum 5 years’ experience in supply and demand planning with exposure to leading S&OP cycles • Experienced in forecasting and measurement of forecast accuracy • Strong analytical skills • Previous experience in a supply chain role supporting multiple stakeholders • Basic knowledge of SAP and JDA systems • Advance knowledge in Excel and Microsoft office • Strong communication skills, both verbally and written Where and how you will work The opportunity will be based in our Singapore office with hybrid working arrangements available through our Smart working model which allows you a greater choice in how you work and live, giving you a better work-life balance.
