CNC Milling/Turning Machine Setter

Job Summary You will interpret technical drawings and perform machining processes to produce precision parts. You will program machine codes, operate CNC milling/turning machines, guide operators, troubleshoot product issues, and recommend corrective actions to ensure quality production. Responsibilities Interpret technical drawings to accurately perform machining processes and produce workpieces that meet specifications Program simple machine codes using G code and M code to support CNC operations Set up and operate CNC milling and turning machines to produce parts according to drawing specifications Guide and provide basic operational instructions to operators and machinists to ensure efficient machine use Troubleshoot dimensional non-conformance in mechanical products and implement corrective actions to resolve issues Participate in failure analysis and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive technical actions Apply machining knowledge and experience to maintain production quality and efficiency Required competencies and certifications Experience operating CNC Milling and Turning controllers is mandatory Diploma in Precision Machining, ITE, or a related discipline Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in precision machining or related field Ability to interpret technical drawings and apply machining knowledge effectively
