Electrical Engineer (Lv/Hv)| Chemical Plant | Jurong Island

Jobscope: Manage and maintain electrical systems and power distribution up to 66kV. Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure equipment reliability. Support the design, installation, and commissioning of electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems. Provide technical support for plant operations and maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. Identify and implement improvements to enhance safety, reliability, and cost efficiency. Prepare cost estimates and provide engineering support for plant projects. Train maintenance personnel on electrical safety and related procedures. Act as the technical focal point for electrical systems and support continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in the E&I on-call rotation to provide technical support when required Requirements: Bachelor or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Process Controls or equivalent Minimum 2 - 5 years of experience in electrical engineering activities in the chemical or petrochemical industry Extensive knowledge of the current Siemens GIS and SCS Open-minded towards team concept Good communication skills and adaptive to cultural differences Ability to work with a focus on safety, quality, productivity, and environmental concerns Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, SAP, etc.) Usage and understanding of technical drawings such as P&ID's, electrical and instrument drawings and equipment manuals is a requirement for this position Willingness and ability to attend internal and external trainings, if necessary abroad This position requires a responsibility to assist with the production of the site which are in 24/7/365 operations and is therefore required to be on-call Candidate must be willing to work in Jurong Island (company transport provided) To apply, please visit www.gmprecruit.com To learn more about this opportunity, please contact Fiona Koh; fiona.koh@gmprecruit.com We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
