Job Description 1 – Physiotherapist (SportsPhysiotherapy) Position: Physiotherapist (Sports Physiotherapy) Location: Tampines Avenue Contract Period: Academic Year 2026/2027 (Option to Extend) Working Schedule Up to 3 sessions per week Predominantly Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM Schedule may vary according to competition calendars and operational requirements. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments for student athletes. Develop and implement evidence-based rehabilitation programmes. Provide manual therapy, sports massage and injury management. Perform sports taping and strapping before training and competitions. Assess athletes' readiness for return-to-play and competition participation. Monitor rehabilitation progress and modify treatment plans where appropriate. Refer athletes for specialist medical care when required. Supervise and provide clinical guidance to Assistant Physiotherapists. Maintain accurate treatment records and confidential documentation. Ensure compliance with professional, institutional and workplace safety standards. Provide necessary physiotherapy equipment and treatment devices, excluding rigid tapes supplied by the institution. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent. Registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC), Singapore. Valid Standard First Aid (SFA) and AED Certification throughout the contract period. Minimum 2 years of post-registration physiotherapy experience. Experience in sports physiotherapy, musculoskeletal rehabilitation and athletic injury management is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of exercise prescription, sports taping, rehabilitation planning and injury prevention. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Able to work independently while collaborating with coaches and sports personnel.
