M&E Coordinator

Job Responsibilities Coordinate and supervise all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works on site, including ACMV, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and sanitary systems. Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure M&E works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications. Review M&E shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions before submission to consultants. Monitor site progress and ensure M&E works are completed on schedule and within project requirements. Coordinate M&E works with architectural and structural works to avoid clashes and delays. Attend coordination meetings, site meetings, and technical discussions with consultants and subcontractors. Ensure compliance with Singapore authorities’ requirements , including BCA and relevant statutory regulations. Monitor testing and commissioning of M&E systems and ensure proper documentation submission. Identify and resolve technical issues on site related to M&E works. Ensure safety standards and proper work procedures are followed on site. Assist Project Manager in planning and coordinating M&E installation activities. Prepare progress reports and maintain proper site records for M&E works. Job Requirements Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering , or related field. Minimum 3–5 years of relevant M&E coordination experience in building construction projects in Singapore. Good knowledge of M&E systems such as ACMV, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection , and ELV systems. Familiar with local authority requirements and submission procedures in Singapore. Ability to read and interpret M&E drawings and technical specifications. Strong coordination and communication skills with consultants and subcontractors. Familiar with BIM coordination and clash detection (preferred). Able to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced construction environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD (BIM knowledge is an advantage).
