Trade Operations Associate

[Job ID: 1628422] Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Associate to join our Operations team. This role is responsible for supporting trade settlement activities, account reconciliations, and operational process enhancements to ensure efficient and accurate transaction processing across the business. Key Responsibilities Process trade-related payments and receipts across various financial products in a timely and accurate manner. Perform daily and periodic reconciliations of client and internal accounts to ensure data integrity and compliance with operational standards. Investigate and resolve transaction discrepancies, working closely with internal stakeholders and external counterparties where necessary. Support operational projects, including system enhancements, process automation, and transformation initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and controls. Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Assist in the preparation of operational reports and documentation as required. Participate in ongoing process reviews and recommend improvements to strengthen operational effectiveness. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management. Requirements Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related discipline. 2–3 years of experience in an operations, settlements, reconciliation, or transaction processing role. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines. Preferred Prior experience within the financial services, banking, brokerage, or capital markets industry. Exposure to trade settlements, securities operations, or client account reconciliations. Knowledge of automation and workflow tools such as Microsoft Power Automate, VBA/Macros, Python, or Agentic AI solutions.
