As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. Additional job description Office of Cybersecurity Resilience's (OCR) mission is to enable Alphabet and external partners to anticipate, mitigate, and rapidly recover from cyber threats through data-driven risk management, secure-by-default technology, and integrated response. Our Program Management Office (PMO) team partners with OCR and advances this mission via deep integration, domain expertise, craft of program management, versatility, and a high-performing team. In this role, you will be part of the Alphabet Use of Cloud (AUC) team, which focuses on managing and minimizing risks associated with Alphabet's global use of public cloud platforms, including GCP, etc. Qualifications Job responsibilities Scale the SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM) initiative to a high-velocity risk reduction, robust vulnerability management program. Ensure newly onboarded SaaS systems are reviewed for Google standards and have necessary control implementations prior to launch. Collaborate closely with cross-organization partners and other cross-functional teams to align security strategies and ensure successful technical execution. Apply technical expertise to manage the lifecycle of security deployments for high-priority SaaS applications, including XUP and SSPM integrations. Foster partnerships with Product Area leads to maintain organizational transparency and manage evolving program priorities. Minimum qualifications Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 2 years of experience in program management. Experience working and partnering with enterprise security or software development teams. Preferred qualifications 5 years of experience in technical program management. 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects. Experience using AI and seek opportunities to use AI/ML technologies to lead improvements across programs. Experience using quantitative analysis to inform decisions and proficiency in data analytics.
