We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded Business Performance & Investment Analyst to support strategic decision-making across our portfolio of businesses and investments. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating business performance, conducting financial and investment analysis, identifying growth opportunities, and providing insights that drive profitability and long-term value creation. Key Responsibilities Monitor and analyse the financial and operational performance of business units and investment assets. Develop and maintain financial models, budgets, forecasts, and business performance dashboards. Evaluate investment opportunities through financial modelling, valuation, due diligence, and risk assessment. Prepare investment papers, business cases, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders. Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Support strategic planning, capital allocation, and portfolio management initiatives. Conduct market, industry, and competitor research to support investment and business decisions. Work closely with finance, operations, and business leaders to improve operational efficiency and profitability. Monitor post-investment performance and recommend strategies to maximise returns. Assist with mergers and acquisitions, join ventures, and other strategic projects when required. Develop scenario analyses and sensitivity models to evaluate business and investment outcomes. Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports with actionable recommendations. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline. 3-4 years of experience in investment analysis, corporate finance, private equity, consulting, commercial finance, or business performance analysis. Strong financial modelling and valuation skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines. High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commercial acumen. Preferred Qualifications CFA, CA, CPA, or MBA qualification (or progress towards one) is an advantage. Experience across multiple industries, hospitality, food & beverage, retail, or real estate is beneficial.
