Project Engineer (ACMV)

Responsibilities: Assist the Project Manager / Senior Engineer in coordinating and supervising ACMV works for building construction projects. Liaise with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams on the progress of ACMV works to meet project schedule requirements. Assist in reviewing ACMV drawings, specifications, method statements, material submissions and other technical documents. Conduct site coordination and basic site checks to ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and safety requirements. Prepare daily work records, progress updates, meeting notes, correspondence and site coordination reports. Assist in following up on site issues, corrective actions, additional work records, variation items and subcontractor progress. Support testing, commissioning, inspection preparation and project handover documentation. Perform other project-related duties as assigned. Requirements: Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning, Building Environment and Energy Application Engineering, or related disciplines. Fresh graduates with relevant academic background, internship experience, project experience or research exposure in HVAC / ACMV / building services may be considered. Basic knowledge of ACMV systems, HVAC principles, M&E drawings and building construction workflows. Able to read and understand technical drawings, specifications and project documents. Good communication, coordination, documentation and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of AutoCAD, BIM, Revit or other engineering software will be an advantage. Responsible, willing to learn, able to work onsite and adapt to a project-based construction environment.
