Horticulturist Intern

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (and Saturdays when required) Salary: Internship allowance provided (commensurate with experience and school requirements) We are seeking a passionate and motivated Horticulturist Intern to join our landscaping team. This internship provides valuable hands-on experience in plant care, landscape maintenance, and horticultural operations. You will work alongside experienced horticulturists and gain practical knowledge of Singapore's landscaping and greenery industry. Key Responsibilities Assist in the maintenance and care of trees, shrubs, flowers, turf, and ornamental plants. Support planting, pruning, watering, fertilizing, mulching, and weeding activities. Conduct routine inspections to monitor plant health and identify pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies. Assist in implementing pest and disease control measures under supervision. Help maintain landscape quality and ensure work areas are clean and safe. Record plant maintenance activities and assist with inventory of plants and horticultural materials. Support landscape improvement projects and seasonal planting programmes. Comply with workplace safety procedures and environmental best practices. Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor. Requirements Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Horticulture, Landscape Management, Environmental Science, Agriculture, Biology, or a related field. Passionate about plants, nature, and environmental sustainability. Willing to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions. Physically fit and able to carry out field-based tasks.
