Mas Regulatory Reporting Deputy Manager (Avp To VP)

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically strong finance professional to join our Finance & Accounting team. This role plays a key part in regulatory reporting, financial reporting, and internal control oversight within a regulated banking environment. Responsibilities Prepare daily MAS regulatory ratio computations to ensure compliance and deliver timely notifications as required Compile and submit monthly and quarterly MAS regulatory returns in strict adherence to regulatory requirements Manage and resolve regulatory queries by performing detailed variance analysis to support accurate and compliant reporting Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare annual financial statements that meet statutory and organizational standards Evaluate accounting implications of new products, complex transactions, and changes in business arrangements to ensure accurate financial treatment Maintain and enhance finance-related internal control procedures to strengthen governance and risk management frameworks Provide financial insights and support for ad-hoc assignments and projects to address evolving business needs Preferred competencies and qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Professional Accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, Chartered Accountant) Minimum 3 years of relevant finance experience within a bank, financial institution, or accounting firm Strong knowledge of MAS regulatory reporting requirements and financial reporting standards Good understanding of internal controls and finance operational processes within a regulated environment
