Banking IT Network Operations Engineer

Job Summary You will proactively support and maintain the network infrastructure and operational stability of a leading financial institution, ensuring secure and continuous IT services within an enterprise banking environment. Responsibilities Maintain daily network infrastructure and IT operations to ensure system stability and uninterrupted service Troubleshoot and resolve network, system, and connectivity issues promptly to minimize downtime Monitor and manage network environments including TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, and VPN to uphold performance and security Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls to protect system integrity and data security Participate in rotational shift coverage to provide continuous operational support Support IT audit activities by assisting in compliance checks and remediation efforts Assist with infrastructure enhancement projects and ad hoc technical initiatives as assigned by the Department Head Collaborate with internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth IT operations across the bank Preferred competencies and qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related discipline Experience in network operations, infrastructure support, or enterprise IT environments Familiarity with banking or financial institutions’ IT environments Proficiency in English and Mandarin to liaise effectively with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders Strong problem-solving skills to independently address technical challenges in a fast-paced setting Effective communication and coordination skills to work collaboratively within a team
