Associate Director, Supply Chain Excellence And Network Optimisation

Role Purpose Lead the design, optimisation, and digitalisation of FairPrice’s future-state supply chain network by integrating Network Design, Supply Chain Systems, Automation & Engineering, and the HORIZON Transformation Program. The role is accountable for translating strategic business ambitions into scalable supply chain capabilities, operating models, technology platforms, and automation solutions. ________________________________ Key Responsibilities 1. Supply Chain Excellence Program Lead the innovation program and its portfolio of strategic initiatives. Establish program governance, strategic roadmap, business case realization, and executive stakeholder alignment. Drive cross-functional transformation initiatives across Supply Chain, Operations, Commercial, Finance, and Technology teams. 2. Network Design & Supply Chain Strategy Own the development and continuous refresh of FairPrice’s supply chain network blueprint. Lead network optimization across ambient, fresh, eCommerce, and omnichannel operations. Develop future-state operating models, capacity strategies, and network investment plans to support business growth. 3. Supply Chain Systems & Digitalisation Define and govern the strategic roadmap for WMS, TMS, and supply chain digital platforms. Drive adoption of automation, analytics, AI, optimization engines, and digital solutions across the supply chain. Ensure technology investments deliver measurable business value and operational performance improvements. 4. Warehouse Automation System Lead automation strategy, engineering governance, and technology innovation across warehouses and fulfilment operations. Drive the evaluation, deployment, and lifecycle management of automation solutions, robotics, MHE/MHS systems, and future technologies. Ensure automation assets achieve targeted performance, reliability, and ROI outcomes. 5. Executive Leadership & Capability Building Act as the strategic deputy to the Head of Supply Chain Strategy & Development. Lead multidisciplinary teams across Network Design, HORIZON PMO, AMD, and Supply Chain Systems. Build organizational capability, succession pipelines, and high-performing teams capable of delivering long-term transformation objectives. Represent Supply Chain Excellence in LT, Steering Committee, and Board-level engagements as required. ________________________________ Success Measures Successful delivery of program milestones and business outcomes.
