About this role

The role is responsible for supporting the Singapore Group’s second line of defence (2LOD) compliance function across its two Singapore licensed entities and focuses on the execution and enhancement of the SG Group’s AML/CFT and regulatory compliance framework, while providing practical AML/CFT compliance advisory support to the business. This is a hands-on role suited to a compliance professional who is comfortable balancing operational execution, regulatory advisory, and framework development within a growing financial services environment. Key Responsibilities Execute day-to-day AML/CFT activities, ensuring compliance with MAS regulations, applicable legislation and Group policies Perform and/or review client onboarding, customer due diligence (CDD), enhanced due diligence (EDD), name screening (including politically exposed person (PEP), sanctions and adverse media screening), ongoing monitoring, periodic reviews, transaction monitoring and AML risk assessments; investigate alerts, escalate suspicious activities and support Suspicious Transaction Report (STR) reporting where required Support the development and implementation of the SG Group’s AML/CFT framework, including wealth management controls such as source of wealth/fund corroboration, customer risk assessments Provide practical compliance and AML advisory support to business stakeholders on regulatory requirements, onboarding matters and compliance related issues Prepare and manage regulatory filings, MAS representative appointments, licensing matters and other regulatory obligations Handle fund compliance matters, including AEOI(FATCA/CRS) compliance, and regulatory and investor reporting Perform compliance monitoring, staff dealing reviews and control testing and follow through on remediation actions where required Assist with the assessment and ongoing review of outsourcing arrangements and business continuity management requirements Monitor regulatory developments, emerging financial crime risks and industry best practices, and support implementation of necessary policy and control enhancements Prepare compliance and AML-related management reports and maintain accurate compliance records and documentation Support internal and external audits, regulatory inspections and reviews and coordinate responses with relevant stakeholders Conduct compliance and AML/CFT training and promote a strong compliance culture across the organisation Participate in compliance, AML, regulatory projects and undertake other ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned
