We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Construction Manager (Mechanical) to oversee the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems for LTA tunnel infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will have strong technical expertise in tunnel facilities, proven site management experience, and a solid understanding of LTA standards, safety requirements, and project delivery. Key Responsibilities Manage and supervise the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems for LTA tunnel facilities. Plan, coordinate, and monitor construction activities to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications. Lead site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project milestones and quality objectives. Ensure compliance with LTA specifications, statutory regulations, workplace safety requirements, and company quality standards. Review engineering drawings, method statements, risk assessments, and technical submissions before implementation. Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, LTA representatives, and other project stakeholders to resolve technical and site issues. Monitor project progress and prepare construction schedules, progress reports, and site documentation. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with approved procedures. Manage testing and commissioning activities and support project handover documentation. Identify project risks and implement corrective and preventive actions to minimize delays and cost impacts. Mentor and supervise engineers, supervisors, and site personnel to ensure effective project execution. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline. Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in construction management for mechanical systems, preferably on LTA infrastructure or tunnel projects. Proven experience in the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of LTA tunnel facilities . Strong knowledge of mechanical systems used in tunnels, including ventilation systems, pumping systems, fire protection systems, tunnel environmental control systems, and associated mechanical equipment. Good understanding of LTA specifications, project requirements, and Singapore construction regulations. Experience managing subcontractors, site coordination, and project planning. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and project scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project or Primavera P6) is an advantage. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced construction environment. Experience working on major LTA tunnel or underground infrastructure projects. Relevant workplace safety certifications and experience implementing WSH requirements.
