Key Responsibilities Strategic Capacity & Sourcing Management Develop and execute long-term sourcing and capacity planning strategies to support business growth, product roadmaps, and operational requirements. Evaluate capacity availability, supplier capabilities, and operational risks to ensure continuity of critical manufacturing and test operations. Partner with internal stakeholders across operations, engineering, procurement, and supply chain functions to establish sustainable sourcing frameworks. Drive strategic initiatives to improve capacity utilisation, operational flexibility, and supply chain resilience. Identify potential supply constraints and implement mitigation plans to minimise business impact. Business Planning & Forecast Management Lead long-range demand planning and capacity forecasting activities to support future business requirements. Translate market demand projections, production plans, and engineering roadmaps into actionable capacity strategies. Monitor execution against strategic plans and recommend adjustments based on changing business conditions. Develop scenario-based planning models to assess risks and opportunities under different demand conditions. Ensure alignment between operational capabilities and corporate growth objectives. Cross-Functional Leadership Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, finance, and business teams to align strategic priorities. Facilitate discussions with senior stakeholders to support decision-making on capacity investments and sourcing strategies. Drive strategic projects aimed at improving operational efficiency, cost competitiveness, and supply chain performance. Present recommendations, business cases, and strategic updates to leadership teams. Risk & Performance Management Conduct supply chain risk assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities within the manufacturing and test ecosystem. Develop contingency plans to address capacity shortages, supplier constraints, and operational disruptions. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting frameworks to monitor strategic initiatives. Leverage data analytics to identify trends, evaluate performance, and support business planning decisions. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Business, or a related discipline. Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in semiconductor manufacturing, advanced manufacturing, operations strategy, supply chain planning, or sourcing management. Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, capacity planning, and supply chain management principles. Experience developing long-term operational, sourcing, or capacity planning strategies. Proven ability to manage complex cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with experience interpreting complex operational data. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence senior leadership. Demonstrated experience balancing business priorities, operational constraints, and risk management considerations. Preferred Qualifications Advanced Degree (Master's or MBA) in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related discipline. Experience within semiconductor test, manufacturing, assembly, or electronics production environments. Exposure to global supply chain networks and strategic sourcing programmes. Knowledge of forecasting methodologies, demand planning tools, and capacity modelling techniques. Experience leading large-scale operational improvement or transformation initiatives.
