Specialist/Manager, Stowage Planning

Description To provide a conducive and quality stowage planning to a containership. Responsibilities Responsible for Central Stowage Planning of vessel's stability and safety. Ensure break bulk acceptance, slot control, supervision and terminal performance. Scheduling and controlling vessel operations. Controlling operational slots and co-ordinate with bunker order. Close co-ordination with Areas, Vessels and Terminals, to all vessel operational related matter. Prepare RDR / SITREP reports, provide conducive stowage, 4-eye check to onboard DG segregation. Secondary Tasks not limit to vessel operations or reporting Additional task whenever required, including overseas assignment. Assist Team Leader in mentoring new Planners. Assist Team Leader in Vessel/Terminal Performance reports. Ad hoc duties as assigned Qualifications Diploma in Marine Operations Studies with at least 5 years’ experience in Liner Stowage planning or Terminal, or Nautical Officer with similar qualification or experience. Proficient in MS Office. Ability to work under pressure and tactfully. Highly driven, systematic and efficient. Analytical and meticulous. A team player who is responsible and able to work with minimal supervision. Possess strong communication skills. Willing to learn and show flexibility in accepting any given task. Good positive attitude and character.
