Trade Finance & Operations Specialist

Your new company One of APAC's leading banks and financial institutions is looking for a new Trade Finance & Operations Specialist. The bank provides a full range of corporate, commercial, treasury, trade finance, and retail banking services, supported by an extensive domestic network and an international presence across key financial centres. Your new role responsibilities As Trade Finance & Operations Specialist, you will handle the full spectrum of documentary trade transactions, provide operational support and advice for trade finance transactions to customers, and ensure timely and quality service to customers. Processing trade service & finance transactions, including LC Advising, LC issuance, documents processing, financing for both LC and non-LC, and liaise with clients for documentary aspects Processing accounting entry, reconciliation, and reporting on trade service & finance Ensure compliance of trade documents with the T&C of the LCs Administer documents related to Trade transactions Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned Requirements A Bachelor degree/Diploma/GCE’A’ level with at least 5 years of Trade Service/Finance experience in banks is preferred. Good interpersonal and communication skills, a team-player, the ability to adapt to changing needs of the organisation and demands of internal and external stakeholders Must be able to handle import and export transactions Conversant in UCP600/ISBP/URC/URR/ISBP/Incoterms preferred Meticulous with working knowledge of AML/CFT and other regulations in Trade Finance is preferred Able to work in collaboration, not only within Trade Finance as main job, but also with other teams (i.e. remittance, loan admin, treasury settlement and onboarding) CITF and/or CDCS certificate is preferable but not essential What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
