Your new company Client is an expert in automation and digital systems for pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturing, seeking to hire a yearly contract renewable CSV Engineer. Duration : Yearly Contract Salary : open for negotiation Your new role We are seeking an experienced CSV Engineer, you will play a critical role in executing Computer System Validation (CSV) lifecycle for PLC and SCADA systems. Execute encompassing risk assessments, requirements and design reviews, traceability matrix development, IQ/OQ/PQ execution, regression testing, and validation documentation. Perform qualification of automation and hardware infrastructure, including PLCs, I/O systems, HMI terminals, SCADA servers, operator workstations, industrial networks, managed switches, and virtualized environments. Conduct validation of PLC software and control strategies, covering Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagrams (FBD), Structured Text (ST), Sequential Function Charts (SFC), alarms, interlocks, sequencing, and recipe management. Validate SCADA platforms and applications, including HMI functionality, alarm and event management, historian systems, audit trails, cybersecurity controls, electronic signatures, data acquisition, reporting tools, and system interfaces. Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), commissioning, qualification activities, system handover, and post-validation change implementations. Assess and verify data integrity controls, including user access management, role-based security, electronic records and signatures, backup and recovery procedures, and time synchronization mechanisms. Support industrial cybersecurity initiatives, system hardening activities, and validated infrastructure requirements in alignment with regulatory expectations. Participate in integration and interface testing involving MES, OSI PI/AVEVA PI Historian, ERP systems, DCS platforms, and third-party equipment packages. Manage deviations, change controls, testing discrepancies, vendor documentation, and validation deliverables through successful resolution and closure. Collaborate closely with Automation, CQV, Quality Assurance, IT/OT, Manufacturing, vendors, and system integration teams to ensure compliant project execution. What you'll need to succeed Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Automation, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline. At least 5 years of experience in PLC and SCADA Computer System Validation (CSV) within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or other GMP-regulated manufacturing environments.
