Reconciliation Lead #Pn

The Opportunity As ecosystem scales across an increasingly complex global operation — spanning its exchange, multiple asset classes, and global fiat rails — the integrity of our financial data has never been more critical. We are looking for an exceptional leader to own reconciliation and financial controls at the highest level: someone who can operate at the intersection of finance, technology, product, and investigation. This is not a traditional reconciliation role. It requires a rare combination of financial rigour, on-chain fluency, analytical depth, and the investigative instinct to find what others miss. You will build and lead the function that serves as ecosystem's financial truth layer across its entire global operation. What You'll Do Own the reconciliation function across the ecosystem: ● Design and scale reconciliation frameworks covering spot, futures, options, staking, fiat rails, and on-chain activity across multiple blockchains ● Ensure the ecosystem's internal records align with on-chain reality — identifying and resolving discrepancies across assets, entities, and jurisdictions ● Oversee financial controls across the Ecosystem's exchange and subsidiary entities Lead investigations and drive systemic improvement: ● Act as the primary investigator when reconciliation breaks down — distinguishing between system errors, timing issues, and genuine control failures ● Work cross-functionally with Product and Engineering to close root-cause gaps, not just surface-level discrepancies ● Build tooling and analytical infrastructure to automate reconciliation and surface anomalies at scale Partner at the highest levels: ● Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on the health and integrity of ecosystem's financial data ● Engage with compliance, legal, and external stakeholders as the authoritative voice on reconciliation and controls ● Build and develop ahigh-performing global team What We're Looking For Must-haves: ● Deep expertise in financial reconciliation — ideally built in a high-complexity, high-volume environment(exchange, payments, custodian, or major financial institution) ● Strong understanding of blockchain and on-chain data — able to trace fund flows, interpret smart contract activity, and work with chain-level data sources without needing hand-holding ● Exceptional analytical and investigative mindset — you dig until you find the answer, and you know the difference between a discrepancy and a problem ● Product and engineering fluency —able to work with technical teams as a peer, translate financial requirements into system design, and drive tooling decisions ● Experience operating across multiple entities, jurisdictions, and asset classes simultaneously Strong signals: ● Background in forensic accounting, financial crime investigation, or crypto-native financial controls ● Prior experience at a top-tier exchange or Big 4 digital asset forensics practice ● Familiarity with on-chain analytics tools (Chainalysis, Elliptic, Nansen, or equivalent) ● Track record of building reconciliation or controls functions from scratch in a fast-moving environment EA Reg Number: R21103035 EA License Number: 07C3924 | Company Registration No:200609504D
