Overview: We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Senior Collections SME(L3/L4) with deep expertise in collections products (cards or loans) andthorough understanding of the end-to-end collections’ lifecycle. The roleinvolves supporting functional design, driving strategic decision-making, andproviding subject matter expertise across collections initiatives. Must-Have Attributes: In-depth knowledge across collections lifecycle phases from early-stage to late-stage collections and recovery. Experience with collections products including credit cards and loan portfolios. Ability to influence functional design and provide critical business insights. Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills. Effective communicator with stakeholders at all levels. Familiarity with collections software and automation tools. Software Requirements: Proficiency in collections platforms and tools used in credit risk management. Competency in data analysis software such as SQL, Excel, or BI tools. Experience working with workflow automation and case management systems related to collections. Knowledge of regulatory compliance tools applicable to collections processes. Overall Responsibilities: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for all collections-related functional requirements. Support design and configuration of collections strategies and product features. Lead analysis and interpretation of collections performance data to identify improvement areas. Collaborate with technology teams to translate business requirements into system functionalities. Provide leadership and guidance during UAT, training, and implementation phases. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal risk management policies.
