The Role HDR is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our Singapore Building Engineering Services (BES) team. This position will be working on projects across a range of markets, primarily the Mission Critical sector. In the role of Electrical Engineer, we’ll count on you to: • Design, manage and supervise projects, establish client brief, technical requirements, scope of works, cost plans and agree deliverables, i.e. report, specifications and drawings scope for all projects with your Group Leader. • Agree level of service, and project design duties with your Group Leader, for each project, understand relationship with fee. • Assist Group Leader with monitoring engineering / CAD resource requirement for each project within your control. • Carry out engineering concept design to detailed design, involve in tender and contract process, review contractor submission, ensuring projects are undertaken in accordance with design briefs. • Liaise with the contractor / PM team to produce coordinated designs that are technically compliant, to a consistent quality and standard. Provide positive contribution to design/project meetings. Maintain regular ‘in house’ design reviews and checks. • Undertake technical reviews of the project (and MEP team input provided to other projects) at appropriate stages to ensure that the project approach and deliverables. • Monitor and control design progress, design variations. • Monitor contract staff or third-party appointments • Maintain excellent client and design team relationships to ach…
