Legal Counsel

Legal counsel Job Description Job Responsibilities: Responsible for drafting and reviewing legal documents and provide holistic risk assessment and suggestions to enhance business value while mitigating downside risk across multiple areas of the company. Assist in the negotiation of investment contracts and agreements, and support in a variety of transactional and corporate governance initiatives. Assist in liaising with regulatory bodies and authorities to obtain necessary approvals and licenses. Navigate licensing requirements for digital assets related activities, such as digital payment services and digital assets management. Monitor and interpret evolving regulations and guidelines in the crypto and blockchain space. Job Requirements: Bachelor’s or Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school in common law jurisdiction, admitted to the bar is highly preferred. 1-4 years of experience in legal roles in reputable law firms with experience in Crypto and Web 3, financial services, investment, and/or asset management, in-house working experience is a plus. Strong interests in digital assets space. Previous experience with digital asset management, digital payment token services, crypto exchange or blockchain startups and in-depth understanding of cryptocurrency technologies, blockchain, and related legal issues is highly preferred. Familiarity with global regulatory frameworks governing cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology. Excellent communication skills to convey complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders. Ability to adapt quickly to changing regulatory landscapes and provide proactive legal guidance. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
