Crane Operator

Shipyard in Pioneer Road urgently requires CRANE OPERATOR * Conduct a thorough check of the equipment before and after operation on a daily basis * Check all safety devices and hoisting cables of the crane and reports abnormalities or the need for replacement. * Perform lifting and transferring of various types of load using the lifting equipment as required by project operations. * Ensure that the lifting equipment is positioned and set-up properly before proceeding with lifting and transferring of loads. * Assist in the basic preventive maintenance of the equipment. * Report any findings during checking or operating the equipment to the immediate superior for proper action. * Assist with mobilisation/demobilisation of lifting equipment * Possess valid MOM crawler crane license * Thorough understanding of crane safety standards and procedures * Must be able to start work at short notice. * Interested applicants are requested to write in with a detailed resume stating present and expected salary.
