Summary The Assistant Manager, Technical Services supports the Manager / Head of Technical Services in overseeing daily data center technical operations, maintenance coordination, incident response, vendor supervision, project support, safety compliance, and team coordination. The role ensures that critical facilities systems, including electrical, mechanical, cooling, fire protection, monitoring, and related infrastructure, are operated and maintained safely, reliably, and efficiently to support 24/7 availability, SLA requirements, and customer expectations. Responsibilities: Technical Operations Support the daily operation of critical data center infrastructure, including power, UPS, generators, switchgear, cooling, fire protection, monitoring, and facilities systems. Monitor system performance, alarms, equipment abnormalities, maintenance status, and operational risks. Ensure proper shift handover, standby readiness, incident reporting, escalation, and follow-up actions. Assist in tracking uptime, SLA performance, recurring issues, defects, and improvement opportunities. Maintenance and Vendor Coordination Coordinate preventive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance activities for critical facilities systems. Review maintenance schedules, checklists, service reports, test records, and completion status. Follow up on defects, recurring faults, spare parts requirements, outstanding works, and corrective actions. Supervise contractors and vendors to ensure works are completed safely, properly, and on schedule. Monitor vendor response, maintenance quality, service performance, and contract compliance.
