Business Development Manager

Location: Singapore Responsibilities Identify and develop new business opportunities with institutional clients, including asset managers, hedge funds, banks, insurance companies, and corporate clients. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to drive business growth. Work closely with Sales, Trading, Research, and Product teams to deliver integrated solutions and enhance client engagement. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities and industry trends. Coordinate cross-border business initiatives and facilitate collaboration among regional teams. Prepare business proposals, marketing materials, and management reports. Support strategic projects and other business development initiatives as assigned. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline. 15 years + of experience in Business Development, Institutional Sales, Relationship Management, Capital Markets, or related functions within financial institutions. Good understanding of capital markets, institutional brokerage, equities, derivatives, or asset management business. Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Self-motivated, commercial-minded, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in English and Mandarin to liaise with regional stakeholders and clients. Preferred Qualifications Existing network with institutional investors or financial market participants. Experience working with cross-border business between Singapore, Hong Kong, and Mainland China. Familiarity with Chinese securities firms, investment banks, or asset management institutions.
