Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities Manage all on-site electrical installation activities to ensure timely and quality delivery of building projects Coordinate effectively with consultants, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities to align project execution with requirements Verify that electrical works comply with approved drawings, technical specifications, and project timelines Conduct thorough site inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems to validate performance and safety Ensure all electrical installations adhere to Singapore regulations, codes of practice, and workplace safety standards Review and assess shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions to confirm technical accuracy and compliance Participate actively in site meetings, providing technical guidance and resolving issues to support project teams Prepare detailed progress reports and maintain accurate documentation to track project status and compliance Required competencies and certifications Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board (Singapore) Preferred competencies and qualifications Minimum [3–8] years of relevant experience in building construction projects in Singapore. Strong knowledge of local codes and regulations. Experience in handling authority submissions and inspections. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (BIM knowledge is an advantage). Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
