Architectural Designer / Drafter

Job Descriptions In charge of all drawing development required by the project; Prepares detailed as-built/shop drawings for submission and interior fit-out works/construction; Prepares drawings accurately from oral instructions, rough sketches and notes, calculations, dimensions for construction or building works; Maintains, updates and makes amendments to drawings as needed; Performs site checking to ensure proper dimension, connection and detail for fabrication; Understands the project scope and requirements in the preparation of detailed shop drawings ensuring that the drawings are easily understood by the project teams; Prepares documents and transmittal form for submissions; Consults with key personnel in the project planning on necessary details in the preparation of drawings; Studies drawings and other pertinent papers in preparation for fabrication or erection drawings; Collaborates with quality supervisor to guarantee adherence to specification; Explains drawings to production or project teams and provide adjustments as necessary; Job Requirements Degree or certification in drafting or a related field preferred Strong technical drawing skills and attention to detail. Ability to interpret complex technical sketches and diagrams. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. To produce construction drawings and shop drawings using AutoCAD and BIM tools. Experience utilizing Autodesk Revit/Navisworks and AutoCAD software
