The Salvation Army, Singapore - Peacehaven Nursing Home With a capacity of around 430 beds, Peacehaven provides compassionate, individualized, holistic care to all without discrimination. We offer a comprehensive gamut of services to care for the sick, frail and elderly who have physical or mental disabilities with minimal or no appropriate caregiver support at home. Peacehaven has also been awarded the bizSAFE level 4 status which affirms our commitment to safety and health standards at the workplace. RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Central Supply Store Manage inventory, stock counts, and stock replenishment. Receive, inspect, store goods and report discrepancies. Process stock requisitions and prepare items for distribution. Ensure accurate stock issuance and inventory records. Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and FEFO/FIFO compliance. Assist with stocktaking and inventory audits. Maintain records of stock movements and inventory balances. File and manage delivery orders, invoices, and related documents. Support logistics and operational activities. Perform ad hoc duties and projects as assigned by the supervisor. 2. Transport Duties (Backup Driver) Provide safe, reliable, and timely transportation for residents and clients between their homes, medical appointments, and the centre. Work closely with the Medical Escort to ensure residents' and clients' safety, comfort, and well-being during transportation. Support operational needs by transporting staff to work-related appointments as required. Maintain the cleanliness, hygiene, and roadworthiness of vehicles, ensuring they are presentable and in good working condition. Assist in the collection, loading, and unloading of donated items and essential supplies. Perform any other duties assigned by the Operations Manager or Senior / Operations Executive to support operational requirements. QUALIFICATIONS Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Secondary School education or equivalent. Possession of valid Class 3 & Class 4 driving licenses and a Bus Vocational Driving License. Prior experience in customer service, driving, or healthcare operations is an advantage. Physically fit and willing to support caregiving duties when deployed to the Rehab Team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Team player with a service-oriented attitude. Able to work independently and multitask in a dynamic environment.
