Systems Engineer(Computer)

Location: Singapore Employment Type: Full-time Experience Required 3 to 15 years of relevant experience in systems engineering, infrastructure management, or enterprise IT environments. Job Description We are seeking a skilled and motivated Systems Engineer (Computer) to design, implement, maintain, and support enterprise IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will ensure high system availability, security, performance, and reliability while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust technology solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain Windows and Linux server environments. Administer virtualisation platforms, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise storage solutions. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement preventive measures. Configure, manage, and optimise network infrastructure, servers, and backup solutions. Perform system upgrades, patch management, and security hardening. Develop and maintain system documentation, operational procedures, and disaster recovery plans. Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to support IT projects and business initiatives. Ensure compliance with organisational security policies and industry best practices. Requirements Bachelor's degree/Master degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline. 3–15 years of relevant experience in systems administration or systems engineering. Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and virtualisation technologies. Experience with enterprise backup, storage, networking, and IT infrastructure monitoring. Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Relevant certifications (e.g. Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, AWS, Azure, or Red Hat) will be an advantage. Knowledge on Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platforms. Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration technologies.
