Chief Finance Officer

1. Financial Strategy and Planning - Formulate and execute a financial strategy aligned with the company’s overall corporate strategy to support long-term development goals. - Lead the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts, and the formulation and supervision of operational plans. - Develop and maintain financial models to support capital raising, investment decisions, and new business initiatives. 2. Financial Operations and Control - Oversee all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, treasury management, and tax compliance, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial information. - Establish and continuously enhance internal control systems and accounting policies to ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and best practices. - Monitor cash flow, working capital, and key financial metrics to identify and manage financial risks. 3. Capital Management and Investor Relations - Optimise capital structure and the balance sheet. - Manage relationships with external partners including banks, auditors, and investment institutions. - Oversee investor relations, build a clear and credible financial narrative, and safeguard shareholder value. 4. Risk Management and Compliance Governance - Establish a robust enterprise risk management framework to ensure effective identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks. - Lead the financial reporting aspects of internal audits and compliance reviews. 5. Team Building and Organisational Leadership - Lead and develop the finance team, set performance objectives, and cultivate a high-performing finance professional workforce. - Drive financial digital transformation by introducing automation tools and AI technologies to enhance operational efficiency. - Act as a business partner, collaborating closely with all business units to align financial objectives with business goals.
