Science Lab Assistant - Jurong

Roles & Responsibilities Prepare, set up and clear laboratory apparatus, materials and equipment for Science lessons, practicals and STEM activities. Assist teachers in preparing resources for experiments, demonstrations and laboratory-based learning. Maintain laboratory cleanliness, organisation and operational readiness at all times. Manage laboratory inventory, monitor stock levels and coordinate the replenishment of equipment, consumables and chemicals. Organise, store and maintain laboratory equipment and teaching resources in accordance with established procedures. Perform routine inspections of laboratory equipment and facilities, and coordinate maintenance or repairs when required. Support periodic stock-taking, inventory audits and laboratory asset management. Ensure compliance with laboratory safety standards, including the safe handling, storage and disposal of chemicals and hazardous materials. Inspect safety equipment regularly and report hazards or non-conformities promptly to maintain a safe laboratory environment.
