Logistics Specialist (12 Months Contract)

Position Summary: Performs administrative duties in support of activities related to the shipping of finished goods. Communicates and coordinates with transportation companies. Handles routine questions and problems and maintains open communication with other departments throughout the shipping/delivery cycle. Confirms the accuracy of invoices, bills and charges relative to the shipment of goods. Logs order information into the computer and files and distributes paperwork as necessary. Maintains records and generates reports for accounting and other areas. In contrast to a purchasing support position, this role is focused on the shipment of finished goods. Changes to individual responsibilities may occur due to business needs and other related duties may be assigned. Responsibilities: Work closely with all stakeholders to ensure clean orders and process them on a timely manner. Understand the customers’ requirements and make logistics arrangements to ensure requirements are fulfilled. Work closely with appointed service providers to secure freight space. Work closely with Warehouse team to ensure orders are packed and ready for collection. Prepare all shipping documents (both international shipments and domestic deliveries) Monitor shipments to ensure timely uplift and timely delivery. Work closely with all stakeholders to resolve any issues till delivery to customers. Other ad hoc request pertaining to Warehouse and Logistics related matters. Requirements: Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience. Experience in order processing, coordinating international shipments and domestic deliveries, preparation of shipping documents. Solid understanding of logistics. Details oriented team player Demonstrate excellent analytical, problem solving, organizational, and time management skills. Effective verbal and written communication and strong interpersonal skills. Ability to interface well with cross-functional teammates. Ability to excel under high level of stress level. Ability to perform with minimum supervision. Faster learner and ability to multi-task. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP. Ability to comply with company policies and procedures, ISO 13485 and other regulatory requirements. Education: Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain
