Finance Manager

Job Responsibilities Maintain and oversee all aspects of the company's accounting functions including full sets of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Fixed Assets to ensure accurate financial records Prepare and ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings by recording journal entries, accruals, provisions, and reconciling balance sheets Generate management accounts and financial reports to support management review and strategic planning Monitor and analyze project costs, accruals, provisions, and allocate costs accurately to projects and cost centers Review supplier invoices, subcontractor claims, and project-related expenditures to ensure accuracy and compliance Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretaries to facilitate audits, tax filings, and statutory compliance Prepare audit schedules, supporting documents, and working papers for internal and external audit processes Assist in GST reporting, corporate tax compliance, and statutory submissions to meet regulatory requirements Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal controls to maintain financial integrity Execute ad-hoc duties and projects assigned by management to support business needs Job Requirements & Qualifications Degree in Accountancy or professional accounting qualifications such as CA, ACCA, or CPA considered advantageous Minimum 10 years of relevant accounting experience preferably within the Construction or Engineering industry Knowledge of GST, corporate tax, and statutory reporting requirements Strong analytical and problem-solving skills applied to financial data and reporting Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines Reliable attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation Strong sense of accountability and professional integrity
